The best of both worlds – the HEMS 2020 virtual conference is hosting both pre-recorded and live sessions with some of your favourite homeschool faces. Curriculum leaders, authors, moms & dads; we’re here to encourage you.
We know that these are challenging times and we want to make sure that everyone can access this support. Thanks to the generousity of our speakers, we are able to bring you this virtual conference at the very low cost of $10. Many Canadians, and families around the world, have lost their jobs and money is tight. If $10 is too much for your family right now, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make arrangements to waive the fee for your family.
Pre-recorded sessions will be available throughout the week, from May 4 – 8, 2020. Each day, live, interactive workshops will take place at scheduled times.
All sessions will stream on a private YouTube channel – when you register, your email will be added to an invitation list; you can stream from the device of your choice, as long as you are using the email you used to register.
Pre-recorded sessions will be available for the duration of the conference. Live sessions will air at scheduled time and then be available as pre-recorded sessions, thereafter.

Overwhelmed and over scheduled? Me too, and so I booked Merriam for the same session twice!
We want to shake things up a bit, so Merriam and I are inviting you to join us in our homes, with a cup of tea and your questions, challenges & successes.
In this time of isolation, let’s build some community and share our journeys together.
The conference is such an encouragement! We want you to be encouraged too. Join Merriam Nixon and Stephanie Jackson, today, for a LIVE town hall discussion and Q & A. You don’t need to be registered for the conference to participate and we’d love to have you join us. Here’s the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QYM4Evd4rc Tune in at 2 pm ADT.
